The Petzl Strato Vent is a super-lightweight and comfortable helmet with a ventilated shell for working in the heat. The Centerfit system gives a high degree of adjustability with two easy-to-use side adjustment wheels, while the Flip&Fit system positions the headband low on the back of the helmet, ensuring a secure fit and allowing for compact storage.
The lightest helmet in the Petzl range, the Strato Vent is constructed of a light, comfortable foam insert, rather than the suspensions system found in the Vertex and Vertex Vent. The two-part liner of EPP (expanded polypropylene) and EPS (expanded polystyrene) offers reduced weight whilst maintaining shock absorption capacity.
The adjustable-strength chinstrap makes it ideal for both work at height and on the ground. With its potential for integration of a Petzl headlamp, hearing protection (like the 3M Peltor Earmuffs), and multiple accessories, this modular helmet responds to the specific additional needs of rope access professionals.
