SAR About Us

About Us

Equipment, Training and Solutions, for when it’s Seriously Critical

At Safety Access & Rescue (SAR) our focus is on building a long-term mutually beneficial relationship with our customers. After over twenty years in the industry, we know what’s important, and it’s just that – our relationship with you.

We prefer to deal with people we know, and therefore, understand. This puts us in the unique position of being able to supply real solutions to your concerns. In other words, we’re not after the quick fix, but something to make your life easier going forward. This is why we only supply established, trusted brands of equipment and also why, we’ll go backwards and forwards with you about what it is you’re trying to achieve with any equipment purchase. We like to know that what you are purchasing will actually do the job that you need it to do. It is also why we don’t supply off the shelf training programs. We run our training for a group of people from the same organisation, so that we can ensure that the training we are supplying is what you need, not just for today’s job, not just to ‘tick a box’; but for the long-term safety and growth of your people and to the on-going benefit of your organisation.

Established for over 20 years

Established in 2001, we’ve grown from a one man business, to a trusted and growing busy small business, with our own fully fitted out training facility and warehouse that proudly employs locals. That one man is Bill Proctor, one of the most knowledgeable and respected professionals in the industry. He is the person that everybody wants to see when they visit, or speak to when they call because, quite frankly, he always has the answer. Bill’s reputation means that he has not only trained Australia wide, but is also invited to train in both Asia and the United States.

We’ve built relationships with both government bodies and business organisations, some of them so strong, that they have remained our customers since the day they joined us – some for nearly twenty years. Our customers include professional and volunteer emergency service organisations; large business, and especially small and medium businesses that fill a niche and need really specialist training and gear.
