High Attenuation, Helmet Attached Earmuffs

High attenuation earmuffs don’t have to be big and bulky! The 3M Peltor X4 earmuffs offer superior noise attenuation in a lightweight and exceptionally comfortable profile. Designed for protection against moderate-to-high level industrial noise, the X-Series utilises specially formulated foam liners and innovative ear cushions to help boost the noise absorption capability.

These lightweight, low-profile earmuffs can be quickly and easily attached directly to a compatible helmet, such as the Petzl Vertex or Vertex Vent, eliminating the chance of dropping your ear protection whilst on rope.

The earmuffs can be positioned in three ways: “usage” – applying firm and even pressure around the ears; “stand-by” – clicking outwards to rest just off the ears; and “stow” – sitting out of the way, either behind or on top of the helmet.
