High Strength, Steel, Oval Locking Carabiner

The Petzl Oxan steel carabiner gives you the strength of steel, in a neat, tidy and good looking small connector. Rated to 38kN, this biner can still fit in the palm of you hand. The Oxan is a great option for those of you who work on steel a lot or prefer to use a carabiner with that bit of extra strength.

Other features of the Petzl Oxan include:-

It has a symmetrical shape that allows for optimal loading of the carabiner
The triact-lock Oxan is available in two colours, the black version with an ANSI gate
It can be used with a Captive positioning bar which helps to keep the biner loaded along the major axis.
A fluid interior design limits the risk of having a catch point and facilitates rotation of the carabiner
The Keylock system helps to avoid any involuntary snagging of the carabiner
The H cross-section ensures an optimal strength/weight ratio as well as protecting the carabiner markings from abrasion
