The CMC DNA: For the Rescue Expert

The CMC DNA Steel Carabiner is a unique “helical-shaped” connector which has a twisted carbon steel body.  The twist enables a 90 degree rotation of any connected device giving you the optimal alignment and offset load management.

When used in a Double Clutch Twin Tension Rope System, the DNA optimises the Clutch handle alignment to allow a single operator to manage both Clutch handles for simultaneous twin tension control. Further features of the CMC DNA include:-

• Safety of an auto locking triple gate action
• High tensile Strength of 40kN
• A wide, 3cm gate opening
• The low profile gate rotates through small attachment points, including the Clutch.
• The opening incorporates the Keylock system so as to prevent snagging
• The sleeve is easy to open, even when wearing gloves
• The carabiner has a burnished finish which gives greater visibility of the markings
