Tower Rescue Training (Tower Recertification)
ICTTCR203 – Use safe rigging practices to climb and perform rescues on telecommunications network structures
Our Tower Rescue training course can be completed in a day (8 hours) and is designed as a refresher course for people who are already qualified in Tower Climbing. Designed to specifically identify tower rescue techniques and systems, this course is highly appropriate for all tower riggers and technicians who work on free standing lattice towers or guyed masts.
During the Tower Rescue program we will look at:
- the different specific ‘zones’ of a tower & strategies to rescue from each
- primary survey (airway & significant haemorrhage) considerations during a rescue
- a range of rescue techniques involving direct evacuation by controlled lower, abseil approach and recover and
- angulated ‘skate block’ rescues.
Successful participants receive an ASQA approved Statement of Attainment that fulfils the requirements of ICTTCR203 – Use safe rigging practices to climb and perform rescues on telecommunications network structures which is provided by PACI (RTO ID 2808).
A recently completed qualification in tower climbing and rescue.
All equipment required for the duration of the training other than the students own.
