WorkCover has issued a warning about potentially deadly falls after several recent incidents including the death of a man in Newcastle. The boilermaker was killed after falling 10-metres from a platform while cleaning a ship docked at Carrington. Five other workers have also suffered serious injuries after accidents across the state.
WorkCover’s Director of Operations Peter Dunphy says working at heights is risky.
