A Super Tough, Heat Resistant and Versatile Prusik

The VT Prusik has been designed to be used on smaller diameter ropes and as it is an open-end Prusik, you’ll find that it can be used for ascending, rappelling, as a traveling rope grab or in conjunction with a Prusik minding pulley in haul systems.

The VT Prusik is made with a Technora aramid sheath over nylon core strands. This combination not only stops the Prusik from flattening and binding up, but also means that this is a tough, durable and heat resistant product.

Further features of the Bluewater VT Prusik include:-

  • It’s strong with an end to end strength of 11.3kN
  • Each end is bar tacked with a custom Technora thread/stitch combination that yields a superior strength and overall durability
  • Can used oh so many ways. Starting of course with the Valdotain Tresse but also for a Symmetric Prusik Asymmetric Prusik or French Prusik
  • Useful for hauling systems, as a rappel self belay ‘auto block’ or countless other applications
