Ready to Use Reversible Rescue Kit

 

The Petzl Jag Rescue Kit, stored in a neat and tidy Petzl Bucket, allows you to easily pick off and lower a victim. Pull it out of its bag and you have a ready to use reversible rescue kit with no fuss or bother.

Each Petzl Jag Rescue Kit is made up from a:-

  • Jag System Haul Kit, which has a 4:1 mechanical advantage and excellent sheave efficiency
  • A Ring Open
  • An I’D Evac Descender with an integrated extra friction spur
  • A Connexion Fixe 150cm Anchor Strap
  • An Axis 11mm rope with two sewn terminations (either 30m, 60m or 120m) and
  • A Petzl Bucket in a size appropriate to the kit length

 

Some further features of the Petzl Jag Haul Kit include:-

  • The system is equipped with a flexible cover that reduces the risk of tangling
  • The rope is pre-installed in the closed friction spur (integrated in the descender) which provides a constant redirect
  • The system has a working load limit of 250kg
  • You can choose the rope length that best suits your work sites. the Petzl Jag Rescue Kit comes standard in either a 30m, 60m or 120m configuration; or you can ask us about a custom made Jag Rescue Kit.

 

What we like to use the Petzl Jag for

The Jag is so simple and quick to use and it is an ideal base for a tower rescue kit. A kit that you need to keep handy but will hopefully never use. Still, if you do have to pull this kit out for use, then you want to Keep It Simple!
