The Top Croll, pair it with the Falcon

The Petzl Top Croll chest harness has an integrated Croll ventral rope clamp and it is the perfect partner for a Petzl Falcon.  If you’re a rescue professional who prefers a sit harness, but needs the option of a full body ensemble, then the Top Croll is the way to go.

It connects to the rear loop via a girth hitch and the front connector of the Falcon sit harness by using a connector such as the Ring Open. Please note, that the picture showing the front connection is to a Petzl Astro Sit harness, with all other Petzl sit harnesses, you will need a locking or semi-permament connector.

 
You’ll find that the harness is padded in all of the right areas. Further features include:-

• The included Petzl Croll rope clamp suits ropes with a diameter of 10 to 13mm
• The foam shoulder straps are widely spaced to reduce neck chafing and when the waistbelt is loaded, they help distribute the load over the shoulders
• The left hand shoulder strap has a Fast opening buckle which makes the harness easy to get on and take off (the right hand shoulder strap has a Doubleback self-locking buckle with an anti-slip device)
• There is a Velcro strap, which can be adjusted up or down, and positioned on either the left or right shoulder which holds an your ASAP ‘Sorber
• Paired with a Falcon, the Top Croll is still a lightweight combo at under 1.5kg.
