Popular Fall Arrest Lanyard

The Petzl Jane-I lanyard is an ever popular choice amongst rope access professionals. It is a single, non adjustable lanyard made from dynamic rope which can be combined with an Petzl Absorbica energy absorber and a Petzl Ring Open to make a single fall arrest lanyard. The plastic sheath holds your carabiner in position and facilitates clipping whilst having the dual purpose of protecting the sewn end from abrasion.

Features of the Petzl Jane-I lanyard include:-

Is available in three lengths, 60, 100 and 150cm
Can also be used as a temporary anchor
The dynamic nature of the lanyard helps to limit the energy transmitted to the user in the event of a limited fall.
The harness end sewn termination is compatible with most carabiners and maillon rapides
Each Jane-I is individually numbered for easier traceability and log book recording
