Self-Braking Descender with Anti-Panic Function for Lowering from an Anchor

The Petzl I’D Evac is a self-braking descender designed for comfortable and controlled descent and management of a load from an anchor.

Features of the Petzl I’D Evac include:

An ergonomic handle designed for controlled management of a load from the anchor. The handle activation is oriented downwards when the unit is rigged upside down, making the device significantly easier to operate inverted
An anti-panic function that is engaged if the user pulls too hard on the handle
An anti-error safety catch which reduces the risk of an accident due to the incorrect installation of the device on the rope
An AUTO-LOCK feature allows the device to be locked off without having to tie off
An auxiliary open brake allows the user to increase friction to accommodate heavier loads.
Available in either gold or black
Made in France.
