Asymmetrical Locking D Carabiner

The Petzl Am’D Carabiner is a beautiful multi-purpose alloy carabiner for connecting devices to your harness or to use at the end of a lanyard. The Am’D is particularly suited for connection to equipment such as descenders or positioning lanyards.

Other features of the Petzl Am’D include:-

It’s D-shape gives this carabiner an excellent strength to weight ratio
The H Profile ensures an improved strength to weight ratio and protects the markings from abrasion
When loaded, the carabiner is oriented in the optimal working axis
It has the keylock gate system for a snag-free body/gate interface
It is available with either a manual locking system (Screw-Lock) or automatic locking system (Triact-Lock)
Both locking types are available in either the standard grey or an all black version
The screw-lock version has a red indicator which provides a visual warning when the carabiner is unlocked
As with all Petzl carabiners, each unit is marked with an individualised serial number
They are perfect for rope access use
They are made in France.
