Petzl has announced a recall of the Scorpio Eashook Lanyard. This is an important recall which asks you to IMMEDIATELY stop using your product if it is affected. These products have a malfunction which, in rare cases, causes the carabiner’s gate to stay open instead of automatically closing.
The affected products are the:
Petzl Scorpio Eashook (L060BA00) lanyard, sold individually and the
Kit via Ferrata Eashook (K029DA00 and K029DA01)
Only lanyards manufactured and delivered since January 1, 2021, and bearing serial numbers between 21A 0000000 000 and 21I 9999999 999, are affected.
