The compact Petzl Sm’D asymmetrical aluminium carabiner is great for workers at height looking to reduce weight to a minimum. With the triact lock version weighing in at just 55g and small enough to fit comfortably in your palm, the Petzl Sm’D is still rated to 23kN and gives you a generous gate opening of 18mm.

The Sm’D triact version is a great option to add to the stable, but the non-locking version of the Sm’D (also known as the Wall) is a good choice for pairing with a tool lanyard like the Yates Bungee Tool Tether.
