A Wide Opening Oval Quicklink

Otherwise known as ‘tube nut connectors’ or maillon rapides (pronounced may-on rap-eeds), Quicklinks are indispensable for all types of rope access, height safety and rescue rigging work. Available in both steel and alloy, quicklinks come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes which make them applicable to a significant range of applications. All Quicklinks are characterised by the threaded tube closure, making them very strong for their size, resistant to side or off primary axis loading and accidental gate opening (as with carabiners).   Quicklinks that have been proof tested are marked with a SWL or WLL (as distinct from similar looking items available from hardware stores that are not tested).

Axis Oval Quicklinks are ideally used for:-.

• the assembly of components to build working systems
• connecting from a webbing loop to a descender or ascender
• as a connector for belay points or fixed protection
